Singapore Grand Prix

Another weird thing that I did recently- I attended the Singapore Grand Prix alone.

Well, I had a free grandstand pass. Why not? It's not everyday we get a $1,500 ticket for free, do we? It reminded me of the time I travelled Germany alone. It's definitely unusual to roam around by yourself but I guess it's okay- There's already enough noise pollution from the revving engines, I doubt I will appreciate a companion's contribution.


I wasn't exactly alone. Gracey was there too and we managed to catch up for like.. 10 mins? My pass entitled me to enter all 4 zones which was awesome because I could watch the race from all corners! Luckily I'm well known to be a walker- I can walk damn alot and not complain :) The circuit sure was huge, and the humidity did not help.



It was my virgin trip to Formula One. It was also my first time on the Singapore Flyer. The pass also gets me free unlimited rides on the giant ferris wheel. How thoughtful! Watching the race from that angle is not a bad idea at all.



For me, the highlight-of-the-day is not the Ferraris, not Lewis Hamilton. It has to be Glambert! I mean, Adam Lambert on his Glam Nation tour. God, he's hot! So what if he's gay.





I felt like a very lost tourist but I'm glad I went solo that night.
